As Chief Executive Officer, Bill is responsible for running all facets of the business with a mission to help customers innovate, as well as drive revenue and reduce operating expenses through the use of First Performance Global’s platform technology.
He brings over thirty 30 years’ experience in the global financial services, payments, transaction processing, card networks, and brokerage industries. Prior to joining First Performance Global, he held the position of Chief Product Officer for Retail Banking and Intermediaries, Transaction Banking and Immediate Payments at ACI Worldwide.
Bill was the President and a member of the Board of Directors for SpendSmart Networks Inc., Executive Vice President at Epana/Unidos Financial, Executive Vice President of First Data Corporation, and Senior Vice President of the Americas for MasterCard International.
He was also employed by Citibank for eleven (11) years, where he held various international executive positions, and where he managed global consumer banking and consumer card products, services and access channel for Citibank’s businesses in the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia. He previously held executive positions at Financial Guaranty Insurance Co., Shearson American Express, and Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company.
Bill is a member of numerous groups including Technology Executives Roundtable, Harvard Business Review, Banking & Fintech Connect, Innovations in Payments, and Payments Experts. He currently serves on the board of directors for Compound Ventures Advisory Board (Formerly Metamorphic Ventures). Bill previously held board seats on companies including Arsenal Capital Partners Financial Services, FrontStream Payments, Tempo Financial, SpendSmart Networks Inc., and Transactis Advisory Board.
Bill holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Rider University.
As Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Sosh is responsible for the company’s technology vision and execution, as well as industry thought leadership.
He approaches each new business challenge with his intrinsic flair for innovation, creative problem-solving, and measured risk-taking to drive consistent bottom-line improvements.
Prior to joining First Performance Global, Sosh was the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at AppedOn, a company that provided mobile application development for iOS and Android.
He is a member of numerous entrepreneurial groups, On Startups; Community for Entrepreneurs, eMarketing Association Network, Network Under 40: Atlanta, and Experimental Marketing Thought Leaders.
As Executive Managing Director, Michael is responsible for business development in Asia. Michael’s career spans more than 30 years with experience in both entrepreneurial ventures and corporate roles, including more than 15 years managing all aspects of credit card development and operations management. He became a Qualified Chartered Accountant where he worked with the Cost Management Division of Deloitte and held various positions with them. Michael focused on incubating and growing new ideas and technologies for the company across New Zealand and Australia. Michael established Providian Bank in Buenos Aires, Argentina and was responsible for turning it into the fastest single-branch grossing issuer of Mastercard. Michael’s experience led him to become the President of African Bank, South Africa's leading unsecured credit company, where he implemented a consumer credit program that leveraged African Bank's 800-branch network. Most recently, he served as a key partner, managing director and the first CEO of BV Card Assets, overseeing the transition of the acquired credit card receivables portfolio (previously Silverton Bank) from the FDIC control into the new company. Michael was raised and educated in New Zealand and holds a B.S. in Commerce from The University of Auckland.
As Chief Deployment Office Laura oversees the day-to-day operations and general management of the company. She is an innovative executive with foresight and imagination, and provides the vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.
Prior to joining First Performance Global, Laura was the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at BlueSHIFT7, a full service digital marketing agency, and AppedOn, a division of BlueSHIFT7, that focused on the development of mobile applications for iPhone and Android. Laura previously held marketing and operations consulting positions, and was instrumental in increasing the company’s brand awareness and company growth. She is a member of numerous organizations including the COO Network, Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association, and COO Forum. Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia.
As Executive Managing Director Corporate Development, Charles is responsible for business development in Mexico, Chile and Central America. Charles is a recognized leader in financial technology with 25+ years of hands-on experience in building, growing, leading and nurturing organizations. In addition to starting his own companies, Potts’ ability to achieve profitable revenue growth and exceed business objectives in a combination of start-up, early-stage and public-companies has landed him Executive roles at Jack Henry, Goldleaf, Fiserv and most recently Ingo Money. His expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, business development and product management as well as his international leadership success brings important insights to investors and management teams on crucial matters dealing with the evaluation, integration and deployment of financial services and emerging payments-related technologies with a key focus on digital and mobile channels and their related operational efficiencies. He is a frequent industry speaker, author, and active member and former board member and past president of The Association for Financial Technology Providers (AFT). He also and a former director for The Financial Managers Society. He currently serves on the board of PROFORMANCE.
As Executive Managing Director of Marketing, Mary is responsible for the global marketing and communications activities, including image and market development, digital marketing, brand management, corporate communication social media, industry and media relations, as well as advertising and research.
Prior to joining First Performance Global, Mary was the Marketing Director at ACI Worldwide’s Retail Banking Division. Her previous position was as the Vice President of Global Marketing for SoftServe, Inc., a leading global outsourcing product and application development company, where she was instrumental in doubling the revenue year-over-year. She also served as the Marketing Vice President for Duck Creek Technologies, a provider of software and services to the insurance industry, which was acquired by Accenture.
Prior to joining Duck Creek, Mary was the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Marketing for BAXL Technologies, a solutions provider of Telecom products. Before joining BAXL, she was the Vice President of Marketing for VBrick Systems, a video technology company, and led her previous company DSL.net to a successful IPO as their Executive Director of Marketing.
Mary is a member of numerous organizations including the AMA Executive Circle, Chief Marketing Officer Network, B2B Technology Marketing Community, CMO Executive Network, and the CMO Group.
As Managing Director Ed is responsible for business development in North American. His dedication to effective partnerships and client success have been and continue to be his guiding principles during 30 years of serving the financial services industry. Prior to joining First Performance, Ed held executive and leadership positions at Source Data (founder), First Data Resources, Adeptra and FICO. Source Data and Adeptra were startup companies which grew into industry leaders; with Source Data being acquired by First Data in 1995 and Adeptra acquired by FICO in 2012. Ed served as Managing Director Americas at Adeptra with responsibility for business development, sales, customer management and application development. He led the FICO Customer Communications Services business unit subsequent to FICO’s purchase of Adeptra. Ed’s knowledge of consumer risk applications, as well, as automated voice and omni-channel customer engagement is extensive. Prior to beginning his business career, Ed was an instructor pilot and flight examiner in the United States Air Force, and is a combat veteran. He graduated with honors from the University of Georgia Terry School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Economics.
